IJSR
The Interdisciplinary Journal of Sustainability Studies (IJSR) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes academic and scientific studies addressing the environmental, economic, social, and technological dimensions of sustainability. Launched in 2026 by the Istanbul Gedik University Sustainability Office, IJSR is a scientific, open-access, double-blind, peer-reviewed national academic journal.
IJSR adheres to the international standards set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) for editors and authors. Subject to compliance with the specified criteria, it accepts scientific research articles and review articles, as well as research notes, academic translations, statistical analyses, case studies, and book reviews.
The publication languages are Turkish and English. The journal is published twice a year (February and August), free of charge, and online. In addition to these regular issues, it also publishes “Special Issues” with prior notice. Articles can only be submitted via DergiPark, and the review process is also conducted exclusively through DergiPark.
